TREEO Captain app: waiters order from the table
Each waiter logs in on their own phone, picks the table, takes the order and sends it to the kitchen without walking to the counter.
What it does
- Every waiter has their own login, and the KOT shows who took the order
- Pick a table, add dishes and notes, send the KOT
- Print the bill for the table
- Taking payment, discounts and moving tables need the Manager PIN
- Works on Android phones in the Treeo POS app or in the browser

In a busy dining room the walk from the table to the counter is where time goes. With the Captain app the waiter sends the order from the table and the kitchen starts cooking while the waiter takes the next order.
Waiters can only do waiter things. They cannot take the payment, give a discount or move a table without the Manager PIN, so the money stays with the cashier.

Can waiters take payment on the Captain app?
No. Settling a bill, giving a discount and moving a table need the Manager PIN.
Does each waiter need a separate login?
Yes. Each waiter gets their own username, and their name prints on the KOT.
