Kitchen Display System: orders on a screen, not on paper
Put a TV or tablet in the kitchen. New orders appear on their own, the chef taps when a dish is ready, and nobody hunts for a lost slip.
What it does
- Orders appear on the kitchen screen as soon as they are sent
- Chefs mark orders as ready
- Works on any screen with a browser: TV, tablet or old laptop
- Use it with printed KOTs or instead of them
- Add-on: Rs 1,000 a year
Paper KOTs get wet, torn and lost. A kitchen display keeps every open order in front of the chef, in the order it came in.
The Treeo POS Kitchen Display runs in a browser, so a smart TV or a basic tablet on the kitchen wall is enough. Orders from the counter and from waiters on the Captain app land on the same screen, marked Preparing and then Ready.
Treeo POS costs Rs 5,000 a year in India, with Rs 10,000 one-time setup, plus GST.
More in Treeo POS
Captain app for waiters
Each waiter logs in on their own phone, picks the table, takes the order and sends it to the kitchen without walking to the counter.
QR code menu and ordering
Stick a QR code on each table or in each hotel room. Guests scan it, browse your menu and order. The order reaches your POS and kitchen.
Inventory and recipes
Set a recipe once. Every plate you sell takes its raw materials out of stock, and a cancelled order puts them back.
Tables and running orders
See which tables are free, which are eating and which are waiting for the bill. Move a party to another table without losing a single item.
